Joint Secretary
Badri Prasad Nilaratna, born on 15 December 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Physics, an LL.B. in Law, and a Ph.D. in Physics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Joint Secretary, Additional Resident Commissioner, Secretary, Commissioner, District Collector and Magistrate, Special Secretary Director, Vice Chairman, General Manager, Private Secretary, Chief Development Officer, Additional Director, Joint Director, and Executive Magistrate. His most recent position was Joint Secretary from 20 February 2012 to 31 December 2012.
