Bacha Thakur, born on September 17, 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1990 batch, Jharkhand cadre. He holds a graduate degree and has served in the Industrial Development department. His most recent position was Managing Director from July 1, 2001, to September 30, 2002. Prior to this, he held the role of Deputy Development Commissioner. Throughout his career, Thakur contributed to various administrative functions within his cadre until his retirement.
