Babu Rao Mudbi, born on 13 May 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1990 Karnataka cadre. He served in the Agriculture Department and held multiple key positions including Commissioner, Managing Director, Additional Director, Deputy Commissioner, Director, Chief Executive Officer, and Secretary. His most recent role was Secretary at Bangalore, Karnataka, from 3 February 2012 to 31 May 2012. He holds a postgraduate degree in History, a PhD in Empowerment, and an LL.B. in Law. Throughout his career, he contributed to various administrative capacities within the state government.
