Babu Rao Mudbi, born on 13 May 1952, is a retired IAS officer from the 1990 batch of the Karnataka cadre. He served in various capacities including Commissioner, Managing Director, Additional Director, Deputy Commissioner, Director, Chief Executive Officer, and Secretary. His most recent position was Secretary in the Agriculture Department at Bangalore, Karnataka, from 3 February 2012 to 31 May 2012. He holds a postgraduate degree in History, a PhD in Empowerment, and an LL.B. in Law. Throughout his career, he contributed to multiple administrative roles within the Karnataka government before retiring from service.
