Chief Executive Officer, Law and Justice Department
Babu Lal, born on 28 February 1948, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1991 Punjab cadre. He holds degrees in Economics and Law (LL.B.), along with a Certificate in French. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Deputy Commissioner, Director, Additional Managing Director, Joint Secretary, and Chief Executive Officer. His most recent position was Chief Executive Officer in the Law and Justice Department from 28 July 2006 to 29 February 2008.
