Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Principal Secretary, Joint Secretary, Development Commissioner, District Collector and Magistrate, Secretary, Director, Project Director, Sub Collector, Deputy Director, Joint Director, and S D M. His most recent position was Chief Secretary to the Government in the General Administration Department from 13 August 2012 to 30 September 2014.
