B V R C. Purushottam, born on July 1, 1977, is a 2004 batch Indian Administrative Service officer from the Uttarakhand cadre. He holds a B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree from North Eastern Hill University, Shillong. Currently, he serves as the Chief Electoral Officer of Uttarakhand. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including PS to Minister, Director, Deputy Secretary, District Magistrate, Relief Commissioner, Vice Chairman, Managing Director, Chief Development Officer, and Joint Magistrate. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Telugu. Purushottam continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
