B Udayalaxmi, born on 17 March 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1993 Andhra Pradesh cadre. She holds a graduate degree in Science, a postgraduate degree in Zoology, and a PG Diploma in Environmental Science from Andhra University. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Collector, Project Director, Additional Commissioner, Commissioner, Vice Chairman & Managing Director. Her most recent position was Secretary of the Backward Classes Welfare Department from 16 July 2017 to 31 March 2021.
