B S Vaishnav, born on January 8, 1933, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1976 batch, Gujarat cadre. He holds graduate degrees in general studies and law. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Director, Secretary, and multiple terms as Deputy Secretary. His most recent position was Deputy Secretary in the Human Resources Department of Gujarat from August 1, 1988, to January 31, 1991.
