B Ramaiah, born on July 5, 1951, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1998 batch of the Andhra Pradesh cadre. During his career, he served in various capacities including Joint Collector and Under Secretary. His most recent position was Vice Chairman & Managing Director in the Backward Classes Welfare Department, held from April 16, 2010, to July 31, 2011.
