Director, Land Revenue Department- Director of Census Operations
B R Kakkar, born on 18 December 1934, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 Punjab cadre. He holds postgraduate and graduate degrees in Mathematics and Education. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Commissioner, Joint Secretary, and Director. His most recent position was Director in the Land Revenue Department, specifically as Director of Census Operations, from 1 July 1990 to 1 December 1992.
