B.R. Ambedkar, born on 20 May 1968, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2015 batch, Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Dr. B R Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad. Currently, he serves as the Inspector General in the Registration and Stamps Department of Andhra Pradesh, a position he has held since 21 September 2025. His previous roles include serving as Collector and District Magistrate. Ambedkar continues to contribute to the administrative framework of Andhra Pradesh through his ongoing service.
