B P Verma, born on January 1, 1939, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Hindi and a postgraduate degree in Sanskrit. Throughout his career, Verma served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Additional Commissioner, Managing Director, Regional Food Controller, Joint Secretary, Special Secretary, Director, and Additional Commissioner. His most recent designation was Under Suspension from September 9, 1995, to September 1, 1995. Verma’s extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the Uttar Pradesh cadre.
