B P Kaniram, born on 20 October 1951, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1991 Karnataka cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Cost Accounting. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Chief Project Officer, Managing Director, Commissioner and Director, Director, Deputy Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, and Commissioner. His most recent position was Secretary in the Horticulture Department at Bangalore, Karnataka, from 9 June 2008 to 25 February 2009.
