B Narasimhan, born on November 18, 1941, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1964 Gujarat cadre. He holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in Mathematics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Superintendent, Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, District Development Officer, District Collector, Commissioner, Secretary, Managing Director, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, Estt Officer & Additional Secretary. His most recent position was Secretary at Gujarat from June 17 to June 19, 1999.
