B N Zambre, born on December 31, 1938, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1975 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a graduate degree in English and a postgraduate degree in English Literature. Throughout his career, Zambre served in various capacities including Additional Commissioner, District Collector, CEO, Municipal Commissioner, and Deputy Collector. His most recent position was Additional Commissioner in Maharashtra. He was associated with the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment during his service.
