B N Bhagwat, born on 21 December 1936, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1961 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a graduate degree and a postgraduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Deputy CEO, Under Secretary, District Collector, Project Officer, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, Managing Director, and Commissioner. His most recent designation was Secretary in the Youth Affairs and Sports Department, Maharashtra. Mr. Bhagwat’s extensive experience spans multiple administrative roles within the state government, reflecting a long and diverse career in public service.
