B M Shivaprakash, born on 18 May 1948, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1993 Karnataka cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including Director, Deputy Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Joint Secretary at Bangalore, Karnataka, in the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms from 6 June 2005 to 12 November 2006. Throughout his career, he contributed to multiple administrative roles within the state government before retiring from service.
