B M Prajapati, born on January 6, 1966, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2014 batch, serving in the Gujarat cadre. He holds an M.A. and B.Ed. in English and Sanskrit from Gujarat University. Currently, he is the Additional Rural Development Commissioner at the Commissionerate of Rural Development, Gandhinagar, a position he assumed on February 6, 2025. His previous roles include District Development Officer and Additional Industries Commissioner. Prajapati is proficient in Gujarati and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
