B M Krishnaiah, born on July 5, 1955, is a retired IAS officer from the 2000 batch of the Karnataka cadre. Throughout his career, he held various positions including Deputy Commissioner, Commissioner, Director, and Officer on Special Duty to the Chief Minister. He served in roles equivalent to Deputy Secretary and Director while working as Officer on Special Duty to the Minister. His most recent designation was OSD to Minister, Deputy Secretary Equivalent in the Department of Heavy Industries from April 14, 2025, to December 1, 2028. He served with distinction in the Indian Administrative Service until his retirement.
