B M Joshi, born on 27 October 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including Director, Joint Secretary, Special Secretary, and Special Secretary Director. His most recent position was Secretary and Adviser in the Finance Department from 24 April 2000 to 31 October 2002. Throughout his career, Joshi contributed to the administrative framework of Uttar Pradesh before retiring from service.
