B M Joshi, born on 27 October 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree and has served in various capacities within the Finance Department. His past positions include Director, Joint Secretary, Special Secretary, and Special Secretary Director. From 24 April 2000 to 31 October 2002, he held the position of Secretary and Adviser. Throughout his career, Joshi contributed to the administrative functions of the Finance Department before retiring from service.
