B K Majumdar, born on July 12, 1944, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Economics. During his career, he served in various capacities including Special Secretary, Inspector General Director, Joint Secretary, Commissioner, Director, and Additional Executive Officer. His most recent position was Secretary in the Finance Department, from March 25, 2004, to July 31, 2004.
