B K Chowdhury, born on February 1, 1933, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 batch of the West Bengal cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Executive Officer, Secretary, and Additional District Magistrate at Howrah, West Bengal, from May 1, 1986, to January 1, 1991. His service in the IAS reflects a commitment to administrative roles within the West Bengal cadre.
