B D Tripathi, born on 29 September 1930, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 batch, Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Mathematics and a postgraduate degree in Physics. During his career, he served in the Department of Home and held various positions including Officer on Special Duty to the Minister, Director, and General Manager. His most recent designation was Deputy Secretary at Madhya Pradesh from 1 January 1986 to 1 September 1988.
