B D Joshi, born on June 11, 1941, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1989 batch, Gujarat cadre. He holds a graduate degree and has served in various capacities including Under Secretary, District Development Officer, and Additional Commissioner. His most recent position was Joint Commissioner at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, from August 16, 1999, to June 30, 2001. Throughout his career, Joshi contributed to the administration of Gujarat state before retiring from service.
