B D Aggrawal, born on 27 June 1938, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Punjab cadre. He served in the Department of Home, holding the position of Joint Secretary from 1 July 1992 to 30 June 1996. His career included roles as Under Secretary and Sub-Divisional Officer. He holds postgraduate qualifications in Economics and is a graduate in Law and Mathematics. Throughout his service, Aggrawal contributed to various administrative functions within his cadre before retiring from the IAS.
