Dr. B Chandra Mohan, born on 31 October 1969, is a 1995 batch IAS officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds an M.B.B.S. from Gulbarga University and has completed the Advanced Management Programme in Public Policy Management. Currently, he serves as the Principal Secretary at Chennai in the Public Works Department since 13 May 2023. Throughout his career, he has held multiple key positions including Principal Secretary to Government, Principal Secretary to Governor, Secretary, Commissioner, Managing Director, Director, Project Director, Executive Director, District Collector, Joint Secretary, Additional Collector, and Sub-Divisional Magistrate. He is proficient in Telugu, English, Hindi, Kannada, and Nepalese.
