B A Harish Gowda, born on 25 February 1953, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1989 Karnataka cadre. He holds a Graduate degree in Science and an LL.B. in Law. During his career, he served in various capacities including Commissioner, Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer, Director, Special Officer, and Secretary. His most recent position was Secretary in the Department of Food, Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Karnataka, from 17 April 2010 to 28 February 2013. Mr. Gowda's extensive administrative experience spans multiple leadership roles within the state government.
