Ayesha Rani A, born on 10 May 1981, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2009 batch, West Bengal cadre. She holds a B.Tech. degree from M.G. University Kothamangalam. Currently, she serves as Secretary in the Urban Development and Municipal Affairs Department, West Bengal, since 23 March 2026. Her previous roles include Project Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Land Reforms Officer, Sub Divisional Officer, Assistant Civil Staff Officer, Special Secretary, and District Magistrate & Collector. She is proficient in English and Malayalam and continues to serve in the IAS.
