Awate Amol Shantaram, born on 18 October 1979, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2022 batch, serving in the Gujarat cadre. He holds a B.A. from Pune University and an M.A. Prior to joining the IAS, he served in the military with the ranks of Lieutenant, Captain, Major, and Lieutenant Colonel. Currently, he is the Supernumerary Assistant Collector at Dahod, a position he has held since 22 May 2023. He is proficient in Gujarati and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
