Awanish Kumar Sharan, born on January 20, 1982, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2009 batch, assigned to the Chhattisgarh cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Currently, he serves as the CEO of the Raipur Development Authority, a position he has held since January 22, 2026. Previously, he has worked as a District Magistrate and Collector. Fluent in Hindi, Awanish Kumar Sharan continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
