Awadesh K Singh, born on March 7, 1933, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Bihar cadre. He holds graduate degrees in Law and Political Science, along with a postgraduate degree in Political Science. Throughout his career, Singh served in various capacities including Sub-Divisional Officer, Assistant Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, Junior Scale, Deputy Development Commissioner, Director, District Collector, Joint Secretary, and Additional Secretary. His most recent position was Cane Commissioner in the Agriculture and Cooperation Department from February 1, 1990, to March 1, 1991. Singh’s extensive service reflects his commitment to administrative roles within the Bihar cadre.
