Avinash Lavania, born on 25 October 1983, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2009 Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.Tech. in Information Technology (Dual Degree) and a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi. Currently, he serves as Director at the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, New Delhi, since 17 November 2025. His past roles include Secretary, Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister, Managing Director, District Collector, Municipal Commissioner, and other administrative positions. He has received the Swachchh Bharat Puruskar (2022), Certificate of Excellence in Public Service, CM Excellence Award, Simhasth Seva Samman, Digital India Award, and Director
