Avinash Kumar, born on 07 May 1983, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2013 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT Mumbai. Currently, he serves as the District Magistrate and Collector at Ghazipur, a position he assumed on 21 April 2025. Prior to this, he held the post of Assistant Secretary. He is proficient in English and Hindi. Avinash Kumar continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
