Avinash K Srivastava, born on 23 January 1960, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Financial Management and a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Commissioner, Principal Secretary, Managing Director, Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Chief Development Officer, Under Secretary, and Executive Magistrate. His most recent position was Secretary of the Consumer Affairs Department from 23 June 2017 to 31 January 2020.
