Avendra Singh Nayal, born on 31 July 1956, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1997 batch, Uttarakhand cadre. He holds a B.A. in Arts. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Additional Chief Director, District Magistrate, and Managing Director. His most recent position was Secretary in the Urban Development Department, a role he assumed on 24 February 2011.
