Avanindra Singh, born on 15 November 1971, is a 2002 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree and is proficient in English and Hindi. Currently, he serves as the Divisional Commissioner at Bardhaman Division since 2 April 2026. Throughout his career, Singh has held various positions including Secretary, Director, District Electoral Officer, Chief Executive Officer, Commissioner, Joint Secretary, District Collector, District Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, and Sub Divisional Officer. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
