Avaneesh Kumar Singh, born on July 1, 1984, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2010 batch, serving in the Bihar cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Sub-Divisional Officer, Assistant Collector and Magistrate, Commissioner, and District Magistrate & Collector. Since December 30, 2025, he has been serving as the Commissioner of Bhagalpur Division, Bihar. Proficient in English and Hindi, Avaneesh Kumar Singh continues to contribute to the administrative framework of Bihar.
