Atul Vats, born on March 4, 1991, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2016 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgy from PEC Chandigarh and a Master of Arts in Public Management from IGNOU New Delhi. Currently, he serves as the District Magistrate of Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, a position he has held since October 28, 2025. His previous roles include Assistant Secretary and Vice Chairman. Mr. Vats continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service, contributing to the governance and administration of Uttar Pradesh.
