Athar Aamir Ul Shafi Khan, born on May 9, 1992, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2016 Rajasthan cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering and an M.A. in Public Management from JNULBSNAA. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Commissioner at J&K since February 23, 2026. His past roles include Deputy Commissioner Cum District Magistrate, Vice Chairperson, Chief Executive Officer, Municipal Commissioner, District Magistrate, Sub Divisional Officer, and Assistant Secretary. He received the Young Achiever Award in 2020 for Excellence in Service to Society and recognition for the Lok Sabha Elections in 2019.
