Aswini Kumar Parida, born on 25 March 1957, is a retired IAS officer of the 1980 batch from the Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate and postgraduate degree in Political Science. During his career, he served in various capacities including Special Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Special Commissioner, Director General, Secretary, Commissioner, District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Additional District Magistrate. His most recent position was Special Chief Secretary in the Public Enterprises Department from 27 May 2016 to 31 March 2017. Parida’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple key roles within the Andhra Pradesh government.
