Asoke Kumar Bala, born on November 10, 1948, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1990 batch, West Bengal cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Director, District Magistrate, Joint Municipal Commissioner, and Additional District Magistrate. His most recent position was Director at the West Bengal State Electricity Board from March 31, 2007, to November 30, 2008.
