Asok Santra, born on 25 June 1944, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a Diploma in Social Sciences and a Graduate degree in English. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Executive Director, Registrar, Joint Secretary, District Magistrate, Director, Additional Executive Officer, Joint Labour Commissioner, and Deputy Labour Commissioner. His most recent position was Member Secretary in the Human Resources Department from 1 July 2002 to 30 June 2004.
