Asmita Lal, born on 17 December 1989, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2015 batch, serving in the Uttar Pradesh cadre. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Mumbai and a postgraduate degree in Public Policy and Management from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Her past positions include Special Secretary, Joint Magistrate, and Assistant Secretary. Since 17 January 2025, she has been serving as the District Magistrate and Collector at Bagpat, Uttar Pradesh. She continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
