Ashwini Kumar Rai, born on May 6, 1964, is a 1990 batch IAS officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree in Mining Engineering. Currently serving as President at Gwalior since October 12, 2020, he is part of the Board of Revenue department. Throughout his career, Rai has held various positions including Principal Secretary, Secretary, Controller, Commissioner, Labour Commissioner, Additional Secretary, District Collector, Chief Vigilance Officer, Managing Director, Deputy Secretary, and Under Secretary. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
