Ashok Shekhar, born on 28 March 1958, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Rajasthan cadre. He holds an M.Sc. in Chemistry and a B.Sc. in Botany. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and District Magistrate, Divisional Commissioner, Labour Commissioner, Managing Director, and multiple Principal Secretary roles. His most recent position was Additional Chief Secretary at Rajasthan’s Directorate of Education from 2 January 2013 to 31 March 2018.
