Ashok Narayan, born on July 4, 1944, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1966 Gujarat cadre. He holds postgraduate degrees in Mathematics and Physics, along with a graduate degree in Physics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Joint Managing Director, Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, and Managing Director. His most recent role was Vigilance Commissioner at the Government of Andhra Pradesh from May 23, 2003, to July 31, 2004. His extensive service record reflects a broad range of administrative responsibilities within the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
