Ashok Kumar-III, born on 20 February 1956, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Hindi and a postgraduate degree in Philosophy. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Magistrate, District Collector, Joint Secretary, Project Director, Special Secretary, Secretary to the Chief Minister, and Commissioner and Managing Director. His most recent position was Principal Secretary in the Agriculture and Cooperation Department from 12 February 2008 to 26 November 2013. Ashok Kumar-III has contributed extensively to the administrative framework of Uttar Pradesh during his tenure.
