Ashok Kumar Goel, born on September 8, 1950, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 Punjab cadre. He holds postgraduate degrees in Geology and Law (LL.B.). Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Geologist, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, Special Secretary, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Managing Director, and Secretary. His most recent position was Agril Production Commissioner in the Agriculture Production Department from December 31, 2009, to September 30, 2010. Mr. Goel’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple senior roles within the Punjab government.
