Ashok Kumar, born on 25 March 1981, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2006 batch, AGMUT cadre. He holds a B.A. in Arts and a postgraduate degree in Geography from Rajasthan University, Jaipur, and an M.Phil. in Political Geography from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Currently, he serves as the Chief Electoral Officer at New Delhi under the Election Commission of India since 10 February 2026. His previous roles include serving as Secretary. Ashok Kumar is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to be in active service.
