Ashok B, born on 27 February 1973, is a 1998 batch Indian Administrative Service officer from the Kerala cadre. He holds a B.V.Sc. & A.H. from Kerala Agricultural University, an M.A. from the University of Turin, and an M.Sc. from Madras University. Currently, he serves as the Principal Secretary at West Bengal in the Sainik Welfare Department since 16 March 2026. Throughout his career, Ashok has held various positions including Secretary, Vice Chancellor, Director, Managing Director, Private Secretary, Deputy Director, District Collector, Sub Collector, Assistant Collector, Agricultural Production Commissioner, and Chairman. He is proficient in English and Malayalam.
